The 2017 Interfraternity Council Executive Board
PARKER EASTLAND - PRESIDENT
Parker Eastland is a Senior from Ponte Vedra, Florida who is majoring in finance and economics with a minor in business analytics, hoping to one day work in consulting. Outside of the Interfraternity Council, he has served three terms for FSU’s Student Senate as a senator, is a member of the Garnet and Gold Key Honor society, worked with Dance Marathon as the Co-Delegate for his fraternity, and was a member of the Emerging Leaders Program.
The Interfraternity Council President presides over all Presidents Council, Delgate Council and IFC Executive Board meetings, acts as the official representative for all outside bodies, and is responsible for carrying out the decision of the Voting Council.
RYAN TURNAGE - EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Ryan is a Senior from Jacksonville, Florida who is majoring in Finance and Real Estate. In the past he has served on Pi Kappa Alpha's executive board; but aside from his fraternal involvement Mr. Turnage has also served two terms for FSU's Student Senate as well as currently acting as the University's IFC Greek Conduct Chief.
The Interfraternity Council Executive Vice President serves as the Chief Justice of the Judicial Board, organizes and oversees the operations and membership of the Risk Management Board Chairman and Committee, and ensures compliance of all IFC policies and procedures.
DYLAN JONES - INTERNAL VICE PRESIDENT
Forged from the beaches and microbreweries of St. Petersburg, Florida, Dylan Jones is the son of a medical salesman and MD residency coordinator and a brother of Pi Kappa Alpha. This Senior majoring in Accounting is determined to fulfill his destiny on being the best IM scorekeeper/minutes taker IFC has ever seen. Some may know him as Dyl, others may know him as ADPi's Diamond Dyl, but there's one thing that is certain: he's an above average Spikeball player with a slightly less than average physique who will lose 10/10 video games he's challenged to.
The Interfraternity Council Internal Vice President records minutes/attendance at all Executive Board and President's Council meetings, records all Fraternity League Intramural sports game scores, updates overall points as sports seasons come to an end, and declares an annual Intramural Champion.
BRETT SOLOMON - VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCES
Brett is a Junior from Parkland, FL. He is a brother of Alpha Epsilon Pi and as well as serving on IFC, he is involved with the Advance Party, the TAMID Group, and the Case Competition Club. Fun fact, Brett currently holds the world record for the most expensive drive-thru order at McDonald's.
The Interfraternity Council Vice President of Finances presides over all billing and fining of fraternities, including dues and new member fees, as well as regulating the expenditures of the IFC in accordance with the budget.
KYLE CAMPBELL - VICE PRESIDENT OF PUBLIC RELATIONS
Since his birth in The Haag, The Netherlands, Kyle Campbell has developed over 21 years into a young professional of many skills and interests. When taking time off from his development towards becoming the next Gary Vaynerchuck, being a brother of Sigma Pi and pursuing his Bachelors of Science in Management, Kyle guides educational kayak tours through the backcountry of Key West, his hometown. Within the next 10 years he plans to have visited every continent, created his own business, and bought his mom a yacht.
The Interfraternity Council Vice President of Public Relations provides a monthly newsletter regarding the Greek community to all of Florida State University, works in conjunction with all fraternities to provide public relations for Greek philanthropic events, and maintains the Council's website and social media accounts.
NICHOLAS RITORNATO - VICE PRESIDENT OF MEMBERSHIP
Nicholas is a Senior at Florida State from Coconut Creek, FL. He is majoring in Political Science and Economics with aspirations of going to law school, and is heavily involved with Dance Marathon. Nicholas enjoys sports, the outdoors, and politics. He also played for a year in the Netherlands professional baseball league, Honkbal Hoofdklasse (Dutch for Major League Baseball).
The Interfraternity Council Vice President of Membership presides over all formal and informal fraternity recruitment activities, provides resources on recruitment for all chapter members, presides over all summer orientation recruitment presentations, and organizes MARC programming for every associate member class in each member fraternity.
JOHN GALLAGHER - VICE PRESIDENT OF SCHOLARSHIP
John Gallagher is a Senior majoring in Psychology on a Pre-Optometry track with the hope of one day become a sports Optometrist. He is from sunny Stuart, FL and currently serves as the IFC VP of Scholarship here at the Florida State University. John is a brother of the Chi Phi fraternity and in addition to serving on the IFC Executive Board, has been an Orientation Leader, a Resident Assistant, and currently works for FSU Campus Recreation as a Personal Trainer. In John's free time he enjoys playing sports, travel, and free-diving. Fun fact: since winning a bowling state title in his sophomore year of high school, John and his family as served as the inspiration for the smash hit TV series Shameless.
The Interfraternity Council Vice President of Scholarship meets with all scholarship chairman per semester, coordinates and promotes IFC scholarships for new members of the Greek Community, and strives for the Men's Greek GPA to be above the FSU All Men's Average GPA.
