Judicial Board

Purpose of the Judicial Board

The IFC Judicial Board will serve as the judicial branch of the IFC. The IFC Judicial Board has the power to interpret and enforce IFC policies, rules, and regulations in accordance with the IFC Constitution, Bylaws, Judicial Board operating procedures, and Florida State University’s Student and Student Organization Conduct Code. The rulings reached by the IFC Judicial Board are superseded by the rulings of the Florida State University’s Department of Student Conduct and Community Standards, as well as the rulings of any local, state, and federal courts.

Philosophy of the Judicial Board

The IFC at Florida State University is the governing body of 18 men’s fraternity on campus. The Judicial Board is put in place in order to promote and support peer to peer governance and accountability across all 18 IFC member and associate member organizations. The Judicial Board will also further education amongst the IFC men in order to ensure a safer environment.
